QuuxPlayer is a minimalist audio player for Windows. The player aims to fulfill just one need: audio playback, without bothering its user with support for fancy skins or complicated interfaces. It is easy to use and supports most popular formats out of the box. Thus, it can be put to good use by anyone who wants just to listen to music.
Feature-wise, it is worth mentioning that QuuxPlayer has an HTPC mode, which allows you to control the player from an external device, such as a remote control or even a gamepad. On the other hand, the application can download artwork from the Internet for you and display it when you are browsing your songs. It also supports Internet radios. It also has an internal tag editor for you to change your songs' tags and make it easy for yourself to find them later. I like the fact that this is a very non-intrusive player. It won't change any file associations nor will it add any information to your files.
The application is only 1.6 megabytes. However, you need the .NET framework 3.5 installed, which is a 66-megabyte download for those who don't have it. No big deal.
